UNIVERSITY - LIBRARY COVID-19 GUIDELINES
University - Library Response to the COVID- 19 Pandemic
The latest information, guidance and frequently asked questions for the UDM community about the University’s response to COVID-19.
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues, UDM is committed to supporting our students and staff..
Access to campus
The Manila Local Government has removed the recommendation for UDM to work or study from home if they can. This means students and staff can return to campus more regularly and with increased confidence.
Face mask requirements
Face masks are no longer required indoors for staff and students attending on-site work and study.
However, masks are still highly recommended in indoor settings, and we ask that you continue to carry one at all times.
UDM also requires that masks are still worn during activities where there is physical contact between people.
Please continue to check-in using the QR code at the Library entrance every time you enter.
Follow safety advice
-
Follow all safety signage, including maximum room capacity limits and building access restrictions
-
Maintain physical distancing
-
Keep good hygiene, washing your hands often with soap and water, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, clean and disinfect high-use items
Vaccination requirements for students attending campus
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our UDM community and to minimize the risk of COVID-19, students attending campus are required to be fully vaccinated or provide evidence of a valid medical exemption.
Students who do not provide their vaccination status will not be able to attend campus.
Students must be fully vaccinated to continue to attend campus.
This requirement is in place throughout Semester 1 until at least 30 June 2022.
We will review this requirement before the end of Semester 1 2022 in the context of the most current government orders and public health advice to determine if vaccine requirements will be in place for the remainder of 2022.
